What's My Favorite Perennial?

March 5, 2017

Adding flowering perennials to your landscape is a great way to enhance the color and dimension of your planting beds throughout the season. When planned carefully with a landscape designer, it's also a great way to ensure that flowers are constantly blooming on your property from spring into fall.

People often ask me, "What's your favorite perennial?" There are so many great options to choose from. But hands-down, my absolute favorite is the Stella D' Oro Day Lily. With bright yellow or orange pops of color from May through October, the Stella D 'Oro wins for its soft, grassy vase shape, controlled size and hardiness. It's non-invasive. It flowers constantly. It essentially has no bad qualities!

Adding perennials such as the Stella D 'Oro Day Lily to your property is a great, cost-effective way to add some vibrance to your landscaping. If you're thinking about a small refresh or a larger project, give me a call!
