Gary Kayal presides at all meetings with Terracare clients, especially the crucial first meeting. Our purpose is simple. We listen to what you want…what you need…how you live. We talk about what you want to do with your space. Do you need a patio…a pool…a natural solution to create privacy? We delve into how you intend to use your space.

Once he fully understand your needs, Mr. Kayal makes decisions on where and how hard- and softscaping should be placed. He makes recommendations that help achieve your desires in the best possible ways….all tailored to optimize the beauty, value and character of your property.

Budget is also a critical part of the first meeting. Before designing a plan for your property, we want you to know what you will get for your money. We make sure all of your desires fit your budget, and explain how material choices affect costs. We might also explore the various options, including “phasing” your project, depending on your budget.

By the end of the first meeting, we achieve clarity regarding expectations and budgeting, as this determines how we approach the next critical phase – design.

Following the first meeting, Gary Kayal does a detailed, hand-drawn plan for your project – designs so vibrant and beautiful many customers frame and hang them in their homes. Function is a major consideration in the design phase. Much thought is given to how each element will be used, and how it best fits into the Master Plan.

A formal estimate is presented based upon the design and initial conversations, and then we sit down to fine tune the details…to discuss the quality and prices of materials…and put the finishing touches on the Master Plan.

Every day on the job, Gary Kayal is on-site, Supervising his expert team, equipment operation and plantings. Hardscaping comes first, then plantings. When it’s time for the softscape, if you share our love of plants, you are welcome to accompany us to the nursery to view selections. Either way, there is great satisfaction in knowing that your property will be treated as if it was our own.

Since Terracare only does one project at a time, customers have our full attention 24/7. We don’t leave to go to another job until we are finished with yours.
