Dear Gary,

Twenty-two years ago we moved into our brand new home with brand new landscaping.
Two years ago, when we could no longer see the house for the trees, we decided we needed help—expert help, since neither my husband nor I knew a boxwood from a birch!

We contacted a number of landscapers and specifically asked for a creative design, one which would not only take into consideration our budget, but also our total lack of knowledge in the area. In other words, having no ideas of our own, we needed someone who would look at our property, take an interest in our property, and come with something that excited him and us!  Of all the submissions, we were most impressed with Terracare and Gary Kayal. Friends of ours had already used his services and were very satisfied, but the other landscapers had been recommended as well.

What made the difference was Gary and his professionalism. Gary stepped us through each aspect of the design, made knowledgeable decisions about suitable types of plantings, came up with unique hardscaping and lighting ideas we hadn’t even considered, and promised to personally oversee the entire project through completion.

We were also impressed that the same experienced employees would do the entire job, as opposed to whoever was available that day. Through it all, including some unforeseen problems, Gary was always there to make sure things were done to our—and his—satisfaction.

And we could not have been happier with the result—it has completely transformed our property and our home. Complete strangers have stopped to comment on our beautiful yard—that never happened before! We are so pleased, we hope to do a second “phase” of renovation in our backyard—and will, of course, hire Gary and Terracare to work their magic.
